I admit; I am obsessed with airport areas to help pets. Having easy access to a place where your dog can snuggle can change everything while traveling. Pet support areas (former security) are a godsend when you have a close relationship or a fun flight. Unfortunately, these indoor pots are often narrow and smelly. This is not a problem at the JFK T5 Wooftop, a pet support area on the roof of Terminal 5 at New York’s John F Kennedy Airport.
JFK T5 Wooftop
The T5 Wooftop pet relief is a breath of fresh air. The outdoor park has a spacious fenced area covered with synthetic grass, where dogs can be safely relaxed. This is a comfortable environment for the little ones to play sports or ride a potty before the flight. There are many seating areas where people can also relax. Wooftop is opposite port 28 in terminal 5. JFK. Just follow the signs for the T5 Rooftop.
Other pet support areas T5
Do you have a picky puppy that won’t go on synthetic grass? There is an additional pet assistance area outside Terminal 5 at JFK. There is some grass, but it is mostly dirt. To reach it, you must exit through the airport security. Get out of your luggage and walk on the sidewalk to the right. This pet-friendly area also serves guests at the TWA Hotel. Louis reluctantly used it when we spent the night there, but he definitely preferred the JFK T5 Wooftop.
