At dog camping, our mission is to encourage people to share their outdoor adventures with their dog. From camping and hiking to kayaking and skiing, dogs love to spend time with people in nature. Over the years, we have seen countless dogs go on adventures around the world and want to give each dog the same opportunity with their eternal homes.
As an organization based in Nashville, we want to return to our community and find new ways to help dogs enjoy the outdoors. We are proud to partner with local organizations in Nashville, the Nashville Humanitarian Association and Agape Animal Rescue. We are currently focusing on the Nashville Rescue Community, but we plan to expand our partnerships elsewhere as we grow!
Nashville Humane Association (NHA) is one of the oldest service organizations in Nashville, with roots traced back to a society founded in 1887 to protect children from inhumane working conditions and to draw horses from ill-treatment. The NHA is committed to finding responsible homes for animals in need, controlling overcrowding, and promoting animal welfare.
Not only do they shelter animals and help them find homes, but the NHA also offers a variety of resources for current pet owners, such as training tips, medical care, and more!
August is one of the many adoptive dogs in the Nashville Humane Association. This energetic one-year-old is looking for an experienced dog owner to be his home forever! August is deaf, so he will need a dedicated and experienced coach to take the time to help him learn.
If you are near Nashville, Tennessee, or want to travel to Nashville and are interested in adopting August from Nashville Humane Association, you can apply here: http://bit.ly/NHA_AdoptAugustus.
Animal Rescue Agape remains committed to dogs that have experienced adversity by providing loving, emotionally stable, nurturing foster homes while waiting for their homes forever.
On average, Agape saves more than a hundred dogs from euthanasia each year, but strives to save more lives each year. The organization also offers many resources for current and potential foster families and adoptive parents, aiming to provide each dog with an informed and loving home.
Willow and her brave personality are looking for the perfect home where she can feel comfortable and cuddle!
